KGC introduced a production-oriented warehouse operating model. Every call-up was validated against the relevant variant-wise BOM. Available quantities were checked, shortages were escalated and urgent inward materials were tracked against production requirements.
Picking was carried out against validated demand. Components were then palletised, verified and staged station-wise before controlled dispatch to production.
The Outcome
The warehouse moved from a storage-centric operation to a controlled extension of the manufacturing supply chain.

Picking was directly linked to validated demand, urgent materials received greater attention and station-wise staging improved production readiness.
