This edition of “Our People Our Skills” highlights the journeys of Rakesh Jadhav and Patilba Wadekar, who rose from entry-level roles to Senior Supervisors at KGC. Their stories reflect how learning, dedication, and problem-solving define KGC’s culture.
At KGC, we believe that logistics excellence is not built on systems and processes alone – it is built on people. Every month, through our “Our People, Our Skills” series, we celebrate the journeys of our team members who embody the spirit of Delivering on Promise. This August, we highlight two inspiring stories from our warehousing and In-plant operations – Rakesh Jadhav and Patilba Wadekar. Their journeys reflect how dedication, learning, and responsibility transform careers while strengthening KGC’s culture of reliability and performance.
From Executive to Sr. Supervisor: The Journey of Rakesh Jadhav

Rakesh joined KGC in 2017 as an executive in the warehouse team. His early responsibilities included material inwarding, documentation, and ensuring smooth operations at the ramp. Over the years, he developed a diverse set of skills across systems management, customer coordination, material coverage, and manpower handling.
His consistent performance and proactive initiatives earned him regular promotions. Today, Rakesh leads Line Delivery and Warehouse Teams across multiple automobile assembly lines as a Senior Supervisor – 3PL & Warehousing. In 2024, he was awarded for outstanding performance, a testament to his ability to take on new challenges with confidence.
Rakesh attributes his success to continuous learning, collaboration with peers, and KGC’s culture of empowering employees. For him, the opportunity to grow within the company while contributing to large-scale automotive operations has been both motivating and rewarding.
Rising Through Hard Work: The Journey of Patilba Wadekar
Patilba’s journey with KGC began much earlier – in 2009 – as a forklift operator, managing BIW cabs. His dedication and commitment soon set him apart. With a mindset of self-learning and problem-solving, he climbed the ranks to become a Team Leader and later a Supervisor.
Today, Patilba serves as a Senior Supervisor – 3PL & Warehousing, leading a team of executives and operators responsible for passenger car body management. From handling to storage and retrieval, his team ensures flawless coordination of a critical function in automobile assembly.
His performance has been recognized multiple times with awards, but what truly defines his journey is the way he exemplifies KGC’s approach: fostering a problem-solving attitude and giving people the platform to shine through hard work and commitment.

The KGC Way: People at the Core of Logistics
Both Rakesh and Patilba demonstrate how KGC empowers its people to grow from the shop floor to leadership roles. Their stories underline KGC’s belief that logistics is not just about trucks, warehouses, or systems – it is about people who are trained, trusted, and encouraged to take ownership.
As India’s logistics sector continues to evolve, the dedication and skills of employees like Rakesh and Patilba ensure that KGC remains a trusted partner for industries that rely on precision, speed, and reliability.
